Come celebrate your hound at Harbor Hounds – Gig Harbor’s premiere event for dogs! Reserve the date – September 9, from 10am to 3pm at Skansie Park. Angel Dog Photography will be there with our booth, and we’ll be running our famous “Enter to Win” contest where you’ll have a chance to win a complimentary photo session.
Here’s what’s happening at Harbor Hounds from their website:
“This event includes a dog walk, vendors, food trucks, dog agility course, face painting for the kids and even some fun contests to show off your dog’s talents. Categories include: Best Tricks, Best Kisser (the dog!), Best Tail Wagger, Best Dressed and a fun musical Sit and Stay contest. You can even get your dog microchipped at Harbor Hounds this year compliments of Northwest Wag Rescue.” As you can see, there is something for everyone!
In addition to all the fun events, you can support animal rescues like Chew Dog Rescue and Northwest Wag Rescue. Maybe you can find your new best friend at one of these rescues! Old Dog Rescue will also be there, and they provide a unique service to help dogs in permanent homes. Old Dog Rescue also adopt dogs, and you might find a best friend there as well. There are also many worthwhile vendors you can support including vets, dog trainers, pet resorts and more.
