Izzy Bee Takes Over Evergreen Rotary Park!

A few weeks ago we received a request from someone out of state, and I wondered if she actually knew where we were located. Regardless,  I called and spoke with Alexis. She wanted to purchase a photography session for her friend Don Voetburg’s birthday.  Alexis mentioned that Don is a truck driver who travels with Izzy Bee, his pet dachshund. Further, I learned that Don has a Facebook page – Izzy Bee and Daddy Take Over the World – that chronicles his adventures travelling with Izzy Bee. Alexis actually met Don through his Facebook page, and they became friends. So she purchased an Angel Dog Photography photo session, and I contacted Don to make arrangements.
After speaking to Don I knew it would be a fun experience photographing Izzy Bee. You could tell how much Don loves Izzy and dotes on her. Izzy is a special girl with a charming personality, and of course she is very cute! So we made plans to photograph her at a great location in Bremerton called Evergreen Rotary Park. Evergreen Rotary Park has plenty of water, a beach, a dock, lots of grass and some beautiful flower beds – a perfect place for Izzy to show off her modeling skills.

Fun Outfits!

While planning the session Don asked about have Izzy model different outfits.  Don enjoys putting Izzy in dresses and even had her toenails painted! I later found out that some of the dresses made for Izzy were sent from her Facebook followers!  Izzy has become a celebrity, and many of her and Don’s Facebook followers appreciate his stories and see him as a friend.

After the photo session, we held a reveal with Don and his friend-social media person, Teri, to select their favorite images.  Don and Teri did the coolest thing – they started posting the photos one at a time on his Facebook page and said wonderful things about us and how much they appreciated our work.  There were tons of positive comments, and Angel Dog Photography received some wonderful exposure. All we can say is thank you much for all the kind words!

Don and Izzy are on the road again, and we are following their adventures. We can’t wait to meet up with them when they are back in Washington state.
