Pet photography is a heartfelt art form that goes beyond beautiful images. It’s about capturing the essence of our furry companions—their quirks, personalities, and the love we share with them. By skillfully composing images and understanding animal behavior, Angel Dog Photography is able create timeless images that honor the bond between pets and their owners.

How it Works!
Step 1 – Pre-Session
During a pre-session meeting we listen to your vision and create a unique photo session for you and your pets. We consider:

Step 2 – The Session
We use all our knowledge about you and your pets to create an amazing photo session.
Our goal is to make this the best pet day out you can imagine!
Pets are showered with attention, love, treats and whatever they need to keep them happy and engaged.
Note that safety is always job #1 during sessions.
Step 3 – The Sales Session
The Sales Session is where you get to see your beautiful photos, select your images, and purchase your artwork and other products.

Sessions can be at a location of your choosing. A favorite park, beach, hiking location, city, it’s all about you and your vision! If you don’t know a good spot, we can recommend one.

Studio Photo Session

Sessions are at our home studio. We provide different colored backdrops and a variety of props.

Includes coverage for two pets and two people from the same household.

Up to 90 minutes or until your pet gives the signal that they are done.

Note that studio sessions don’t include any physical or digital products.

Legacy Session (for pets without much time left)

Sessions can be at a location of your choosing. A favorite park, beach, hiking location, city, or your home. These sessions are all about your vision and the comfort of your senior pet.

Includes photos for your immediate family and two pets. Additional pets $50 each.

Up to three hours of time or until your pet gives the signal that they are done. Note that for this type of session we’ll likely include breaks for your pet while we organize additional scenes.

Below is a list of prints and products we offer, along with starting prices. We offer four packages, which provide a better value than a la carte’ pricing. Our most popular package is the Two Paws – $1500. Most clients spend between $1500 – $3500, but there is no minimum. Purchase only what you love!

Products Offerings (a’ la carte)
We offer a variety of products to suit your needs and provide three types of prints, two different albums, an acrylic block for your table or desk, digital files and slideshows. Below is brief a description of those products. We have physical samples of many products, so you can see and feel what you are purchasing.
Prints – note that all purchased metal, canvas, or framed prints include a web sized digital file suitable for sharing on social media.
Metal Prints
These are photos on a metal (aluminum) sheet. What makes metal prints cool are the vibrant colors. They really make the colors “pop”! We offer them in sizes from 8 x 10″ to 30 x 40″.

Canvas Wrapped Prints
Canvas wrapped prints are, as the name implies, printed on artists canvas. They provide a classic painting look while extending the photo around the edges. Canvas wraps also come with a “floating frame” where the frame provides a shadow around the wrap. We offer them in sizes from 8 x 12″ to 30 x 40″.

Framed Prints
Framed prints are traditional glass covered prints that are matted. Note that the sizes reflect the size of the frame, not the size of the image. We offer them in sizes from 11 x 14 ” to 24 x 36″. The following link gives more information about framed prints.

Acrylic Prints
Acrylic prints use an glass like acrylic face that brightens the photo and gives it a subtle “3d” look. To many, acrylic prints look like they have a back light, so they appear very bright. Like metal prints, the colors really “pop” but look shinier. We offer them in sizes from 8 x 10 ” to 30 x 40″.

Acrylic Blocks
Acrylic blocks photos sit behind 1″ acrylic. Like acrylic prints, they have an almost backlit look, so are very vibrant. Because of the 1″ thickness of the acrylic it has an even more “3d” look then an acrylic print. They are not meant to be mounted on a wall, instead they are freestanding on a table or desk.
They are in 5″ x 7″ size for only $165
Pacific Premium Albums
These high quality albums will not fade and are meant to last a lifetime. They are available in sizes from 8″ x 10″to 12″ x 12″ All come with a hard cover with several choices including black cover, a wrapped picture cover (canvas), or a metal, acrylic or wood print. They include all photos presented in the ordering session – typically 20-30.

We love to tell Pet Stories with slideshows. Shows can be based off of photos taken in our photo session or pictures / videos that you can provide (or both).

FAQ’s
My Dog Isn't Well Behaved. Can I Still Get Good Photos?
Yes, we can get great photos regardless of how your dog behaves. We've dealt with every type of dog even in stressful situations, and still had success.
My Dog Is Easily Distracted. Can I Still Get Photos?
Yes, we can get great photos of easily distracted dogs. We use treats, toys, affection, and their connection to their owners to keep them engaged. It helps to select a location and time where we know it will be less crowded.
Will My Dog / Pet Stay On A Leash?
Yes, your dog will be on a leash if there are any safety concerns. We don't want your dog running off or getting into something dangerous. For action photos we use a longer leash. Of course, we edit out the leash so you receive the best possible image!
What Happens If It Rains?
We can take photos in light rain and overcast conditions. Overcast days are actually great, as it creates beautiful soft light. We'll have to reschedule if we encounter heavy rain or fog. Finally, we monitor the weather carefully in the days before a photo session and regularly communicate options. It's always good the have a backup plan!
Why Do You Require A Pre-Session Consultation?
A pre-session consultation is key to providing our clients with a great experience! There are many reasons including:

What Is My Investment?
Our session fee's range from $200 to $300 depending on the type of session. It reserves your spot on the calendar. It does not include physical or digital products. We offer a wide variety of wall art (metal, canvas, acrylic, framed) prints, albums, folio's and acrylic blogs. All products are premium quality and designed to last a lifetime. Digital files are available and included with all collections or a la carte'. Typically clients invest between $1500 and $3500.
Can I Get Digital Files?
Yes! If you purchase a print, you will receive a digital file for social media sharing. Full resolution files are available individually or for the entire gallery. Digital files are also included with all collections. See collections (above) for details.
