Legacy Sessions (End-of-Life Pet Photography)
When time feels precious, you deserve a session that is calm, unhurried, and centered on your connection — with images you’ll be grateful you have.
Serving Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Seattle and the Puget Sound
A gentle way to honor your pet — and your bond
Legacy sessions (sometimes called end of life or Rainbow Bridge sessions) are designed for pets who are aging, ill, or simply nearing the end of their journey. The goal isn’t to force “perfect” photos — it’s to preserve what’s real: the way they lean into you, the way you look at them, the love you’ve built together.
Many sessions include quiet moments, soft laughter, favorite treats, and pauses when your pet needs them. You don’t need to know what to do — I’ll guide you gently the entire way.

Session fee and what’s included
Legacy Session Fee: $200
This is my way of giving back — keeping these sessions accessible, so families can say “yes” without financial pressure.
Your session fee includes:
-
Planning help (location, timing, what to bring)
-
A relaxed session built around your pet
-
5 full-resolution digital images of your choice (beautifully finished and ready to print and share)
If you’d like additional images or artwork (albums, wall art, gift prints), you can — but it’s always optional. The heart of this offering is that you can leave with meaningful images without needing to spend more. You can visit our Learn More page for complete pricing information.
Timing and availability (important)
If your pet’s timeline is uncertain, please reach out anyway. I keep flexibility for Legacy Sessions when possible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate urgent requests.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my pet can’t walk well or tires quickly?
That’s completely okay. We can photograph them lying down, being held, in a wagon, on a favorite blanket, or at home. The session is built around comfort, not performance.
What should we bring?
Water, a few high-value treats (if allowed), and anything meaningful (a blanket, a toy, a leash/collar you love). I’ll help you keep it simple.
Can people be in the photos too?
Yes — and I encourage it. Hands, hugs, foreheads together, and quiet connection often become the most treasured images.
What if I cry the whole time?
You won’t be the first. There’s no “right way” to feel. We’ll go gently and take breaks whenever needed.
Do you photograph at-home sessions?
Yes — home can be the most peaceful place, especially for pets with limited mobility or anxiety.
How soon will we see the images?
Expect us to contact you for a reveal within one week of the session. We will gently guide you through the process of selecting images.
How do I know when it’s “time” for photos?
If you’re asking the question, it’s usually time. Even a simple session at home can create images you’ll hold onto forever.
